I completed a Master's of Arts (M.A.) and a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in War Studies (History) at the Graduate Studies and Research Division of the Royal Military College of Canada (RMC), Kingston, Ontario, Canada. My focus centered on the thought and career of Jacques-François de Chastenet de Puységur (1656-1743).
Recently, I taught International Relations and Political Science, also at RMC Kingston.
My interests remain very broad. That owes in no small part to exceptional teachers and an education spanning across the humanities: history, philosophy, art history, history of science, literature, anthropology, sociology, critical studies, ancient and modern languages.
From ealier studies, I hold a Diploma of Collegial Studies in Liberal Arts from John Abbott College, Montreal, Quebec. Thereafter, I completed a Baccalaureate in Theology (B.Th.), Magna cum laude, jointly conferred by the University of Ottawa and Saint Paul University, Ottawa. I also completed a Baccalaureate in Philosophy, Summa cum laude, at Saint Paul University.
